Sand Etching

Glass and crystal items are perfect for sand etching.  The crisp, fine details and the depth of the etching give the appearance of richness and professionalism.  Each piece is hand done by our staff artist using a several step process. Some great uses for sand etched artwork are: premium quality crystal award or recognition items, wedding or anniversary gifts, birthday gifts, special barware for homes and businesses, glass and mirror items for home or business decor and so much more. 

 Customers are encouraged to bring in special designs, logos or monograms, which our artist then digitizes on the computer.

We have several design books to work from to create a design, or one can be created from your logo or design idea.  Once the design is approved, our sand etching specialist begins the detailed process by exposing a special film to transfer the design to the film, which she then applies carefully to the piece.  It is now ready for sand etching, which is all done skillfully by hand, one piece at a time.  Once the piece is finished it gets a hand washing to remove any traces of the film and grit to show all the beauty of a fine piece of art.  Please enjoy the samples of sand etching shown in our sample gallery.
